Eric was a lovely man he worked hard everyday of his life. One week’s holiday a year was enough for him; his round of golf on a Sunday morning gave him all the exercise he needed. He didn’t smoke and only had the occasional tipple, the staff canteen kept him alive, the pie and mushy peas were his favourite. OK he was a few pounds over weight but that was to be expected, he was tied to his desk all day. His wife often tried to get him to take a break but Eric always said. ‘I don’t have the time.’ ‘They need me hear.’ ‘I can’t really trust anyone to take over.’

‘Yes! But you need to relax Eric.’ said his wife Mary. ‘Relax.’ Said Eric, ‘I am bloody relaxed, I’ve got the Vat man coming on Monday, half the staff are off sick -  the kids want to go to university; the sales figures are down the pan and all you can think of is holidays and bloody relaxation.

 ‘Relax! - I’m off to the office! I can relax there and don’t send that personal bloody performance coach around again. What a geek he is, tap away stress, bloody idiot, he wants to try running his own business, see if his tapping does him any good then.’

Eric walked out slamming the door behind him.

The hospital; later told Mary, Eric had suffered a massive heart attack and there was nothing they could do to save him. ‘I can’t understand it,’ said Mary. He always kept himself fairly fit, ok he worked hard but he never suffered from any kind of stress.’

Eric died leaving the factory to his son David who immediately sold it for a small fortune. He and his mother Mary now live in Spain and enjoy life to the full - they have a toast to Eric every day just before going to the beach.

Had Eric had the benefit of EFT and a Personal Performance Coach, he may have still been alive and in Spain too.
